Important Recital Information

The Spring recital is just a couple of weeks away! Here is everything you need to know about the recital.


The recital is Disney-themed. Most of the songs in this recital are from Disney movies. Because of this, students are encouraged to wear Disney clothing for their performance! The dress code will be black pants with a Disney-themed or solid color shirt.


The recital will be fully pre-recorded. This recital will be full pre-recorded. This means all students will record a video of their song and send it to rlaci@lacimusicstudio.com before the recital. Videos are due by Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 8:00 pm MST. No videos sent in after this time will be included in the recital.


Recording requirements:

  • Horizontal video

  • Student and instrument is visible

  • Clean, quiet space


Recording order:

  • The student says “Hello my name is ‘Name’ and I will be playing ‘Song Name’ from ‘Movie’ on my violin/piano.”

  • The student plays their recital song

  • The student says “Thank you for watching.”

  • Students are also welcome to share their favorite Disney character or movie


If the video file is too large to email to me, please save the file as a Google Drive file, SamsungCloud link sharing, or iCloud file before sending them to me. Please do not send a YouTube or Vimeo video.


The video will be shared on Facebook and Youtube. The recital is Disney-themed. The recital video will be shared on the Laci Music Studio Facebook page, in the recital Facebook event, and on the Laci Music Studio YouTube channel. The recital will be available for family and friends to watch at 5:30pm MST on March 26.


There will be a studio watch party. There will be a watch party on March 26 for students. This will take place on Zoom, and you will receive an invitation on Fons. Please do not share this link with friends or family. During the party, I will screen share the recital video for students to watch!
